Hey, I’m Liz, and I’m on a mission to help people like you who feel overwhelmed by meal planning.

My goal? To simplify this process using artificial intelligence (AI). When I discovered that a computer could generate weekly meal plans for me, create recipes based on my dietary preferences, and even provide a grocery list of ingredients, my first thought was, “Wow!”

My second thought was, “Can AI Cook For Me, Too?” And thus, my blog was born.

I know there are countless meal planning and recipe blogs out there– many run by individuals who live and breathe cooking; however, I also know that there are many of us who find the process of preparing healthy meals each day daunting and overwhelming.

We long to make better choices, but the hard work involved often feels like too much. This is where “Can AI Cook For Me, Too?” comes in. Here, we’re embarking on a novel journey together, using AI to alleviate the burden of meal planning, allowing us to focus on what truly matters– savoring nutritious, tasty meals and leading a healthier lifestyle.

Health Struggles and the Search for Simplicity in the Kitchen

Like many of you, I’ve had my fair share of health and diet challenges. For two decades, I’ve lived with polycystic ovarian syndrome and insulin resistance, leading me on a roller coaster of weight gain and loss, coupled with a constant battle to make healthy food choices. I’m no master chef, but I understand the drive to eat better without the stress of planning and cooking. (And no, at the time of this writing, AI can’t realistically cook for me, but it sure can help alleviate some of the stress around meal time!)

As a former computer science teacher, my passion for technology and learning has shaped this experiment. I’ve combined my love for tech with the struggle of meal planning to create this blog in the hopes that you will benefit as much as I have.
